Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon once resided in Glamis Castle in Scotland where she was often referred to as Elizabeth of Glamis. When she married King George VI, she became Queen Elizabeth, then in 1952, her title was once again changed to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, Queen Mother, when her daughter became Queen Elizabeth II.  She lived to be 100 and when in public, was always seen in high heel shoes. This beautiful collection follows her through her life.

Pre-decimal coins include: a Farthing from the reign of King George VI, Penny from the reign of Edward VII (1991-1910), Penny from the reign of Queen Victoria, and a Brass Three-penny coin from the reign of George VI. This special collection also includes the first type of decimal coin minted in 1968, and a special Crown minted by the Royal Mint in 1980 to commemorate her 80th birthday. A Fifty-pence decimal coin introduced in 1997 finishes the list of coins. The five rare uncirculated stamps included in this collection are virtually impossible to find in this condition, making this a must have for a lover of history and the Royal family.

This beautiful collection is an honorable tribute to her life that will be displayed with pride and become an heirloom of tomorrow.
