The Royal Coronation Collection

A fantastic choice that will become the majestic centerpiece for any collection. This outstanding collection of eight genuine pre-decimal coins and two uncirculated stamps includes:

Halfpenny: (pronounced “haypnney” a poor person could shake his or her pocket/purse and sound wealthy.
Penny: (twelve = one shilling).   Also known as a “copper.”     One hundred = one British Pound.
Threepence: (four = one shilling). Pronounced “thrupence” or “thrupnee bit.”
Sixpence (two = one Shilling).
Shilling: (twenty shillings = one British Pound Sterling). Also known as a “bob”.
Florin: (a two shilling coin).
Halfcrown: (is the same as two shillings and sixpence).
Crown (Equals two halfcrown coins)

Two rare uncirculated rare stamps are also included. All coins and stamps were issued by the Royal Mint at the time of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth 11, in 1952. The entire collection is displayed behind glass in a luxury handsome wood frame with an ornate border.
